Make a complaint

If you wish to make a complaint, follow these steps.

Issues about conduct

If you disagree with the result of an assessment or test, please discuss the issue with the motor driving instructor or authorised examiner first.

You can contact the Department for Infrastructure and Transport:

  • if you have not been able to resolve the matter with them
  • if the complaint is about their conduct or the way the assessment was conducted.

To do this, email DIT.licensingbookings@sa.gov.au or use the Department’s feedback form.

When you submit your complaint, please provide the following information:

  • your details, including name, address, email and contact number
  • details of the authorised examiner or motor driving instructor
  • an overview of what happened, including the date, time and location
  • what you have tried to resolve this with them.

Issues about business practices

Contact Consumer Business Services if your issue is about an instructor’s or examiner’s business practices. For example, refusal to issue receipts for payments.

To do this, call 13 18 82.
